I am looking for advice on starting a recipe blog. I especially would like to know any recommended blogging platforms. Thank you!

A question for Wordpress users; I participate at Food Buzz which emphasizes food blogs and as I recall there was a problem importing blog posts which came in via Wordpress. Perhaps it's fixed. Anyone know?

I've used both Blogger and Wordpress, and I found WP's blogging platform to be better designed and easier to work with than Blogger. If you don't like one site, there's options to import your blog from one to the other. That's what I did, and I've never looked back!

I use wordpress, and am quite happy with it. It too is pretty easy for someone to set up and use.

I use blogspot as well.

I use blogspot.com also...it's easy to set up ( especially for a computer illiterate like me) and there's lots of support and technical advice.

My own blog uses blogspot.com. Here's the link to mine www.http://eggsinpurgatory.blogspot.com

It's free and pretty easy to set up. You can also build your own website through Go Daddy but you will have to pay for a domain name and so on.
