How far in advance can the cloud cake be made? Need it for Xmas day,

I think that cake is best the day it's made. But having made the whole thing once just for 2, I stretched its appearance by not topping the whole thing with whipped cream. If you must make it in advance, make the whipped cream the day of and scoop it onto the cake just before serving.
