What size package of rice noodles is used and can the salad be made a few hours in advance?

Looked at the Bobby Flay cucumber rice-noodles recipe from which this author started.
Sounds like he used half of a one-pound package of noodles or 8 oz. Total.
Also, yes can make everything but the noodles, mix and store in fridge up to 24 hours.
Prepare and drain the noodles at the last minute, mix with the cucumber shrimp part and serve.
