I have been searching everywhere for this recipe. Problem though! How much sugar, how much water, per vanilla bean.

Vanilla Syrup
Recipe question for: Vanilla Syrup

Looks like a standard dimple syrup with a wonderful addition of a couple of vanilla beans. Proportions are given in the recipe as 2:1 sugar to water. I would either do 1 cup sugar to 1/2 cup water, or 2 cups sugar to 1 cup water. The former would have a stronger vanilla presence of course, but I think you would still get a great hit of vanilla from the 2 cups of sugar recipe. During the summer I always have a condiment squeeze bottle of simple syrup in my fridge to sweeten iced tea as it dissolves almost immediately.

Sorry... should read standard "simple" syrup, not dimple... HA HA!
