Why does the photo look as if there are tomatoes in this recipe?

I don't think I'm seeing things, but I see a redness that looks as if there are tomatoes in this recipe. Where is that coming from?

i think merrill probably sprinkled paprika over the dish ' to make pretty in the photo'. or it was the vagaries of the photo film.

No idea, but I definitely agree - I don’t see anything in the ingredient list that would be that color! Curious to hear if anyone has an answer...
