I would use just shy of three tablespoons of ginger garlic paste. The general rule is that 6 cloves of garlic = 2 tablespoons of paste, and 1" of garlic = 1 teaspoon of paste. The linked garlic ginger paste recipe uses equal amounts of garlic and ginger, so I'd simply add the two equivalent measures.

It sounds like a lot, but there are two cauliflowers in this recipe, so i wouldn't hesitate to use that much. ;o)
