What is the correct amount of tomato sauce to use?

The ingredient list says 2 cups of tomato sauce while the directions say 2 1/2 cups. Which is the correct amount?

I agree with Coral. Many time, in soup, quantities are very forgiving. I bet it would be fine either way.

Hey Dragonspearls! Great question. I'd start with 2 cups tomato sauce; if the soup looks or tastes at all thin (aka too brothy), then add the remaining 1/2 cup. Hope this helps!
