How much dough for 15” cast iron pan?

I made a double recipe of dough, but thinking it may be too much for my large cast iron pan—15” at top, 12” bottom. Has anyone scaled up to a pan this size, and if so, how much dough did you use?

Thanks, Nancy. I had made a double recipe, but wasn’t sure if it would be too much dough for the 15”. It ended up just right!

By area, the 15" round pan is about 2 1/4 times that of the 10" pan (one of two specified in the recipe).
I'd make 2 times the original recipe to scantly fill or 2 1/2 times the original to generously fill the larger pan.

So, yes, I encourage you to use the double batch (if you've not already made it).
