Brown sugar substitutes? I only have honey

Is it always ok to substitute honey for brown sugar?
It’s a sauce or glaze and I have no brown sugar.

Yes, for a glaze you can use honey. I would use less than the brown sugar called for. Taste to judge how well you like it and adjust flavors accordingly.

It's not "always ok," but in a sauce/glaze it should be fine. Maybe reduce other liquids a bit depending on how much you need.

You can use granulated white sugar measure for measure. You can also stir in a bit of molasses with your granulated sugar. I think its 1 TBSP molasses per cup of sugar.
