Is there a time limit on brining a turkey?

I am brining a turkey that I intended to cook yesterday but life got in the way and it didnt get done. It has now been brining for over 48 hours. Is it still safe to cook this turkey or not?

Hard to know since we don't know what type of turkey and if it has been injected with a salt solution. And we also don't know what kind of brine you used. I think it will be fine. Maybe even a little too salty (especially if you used a commercial turkey that's been injected with a salt solution).
