Substitutions for heavy cream

Hi Kristen, love watching your cooking videos ... I made the King Arthur pizza which was absolutely delicious. I would love to make these banana bread scones but don’t have heavy cream. Can you substitute half and half or milk?

I always sub heavy cream with sour cream. It works in every sweet or savory recipe and it keeps SO much longer In fridge. I always keep some on hand but I. Ever seem to have cream
