Would water from chickpea pasta thicken the sauce?

I've started using Banza 100% chickpea pasta for many dishes, but will it provide enough thickening?

Thanks, EL. I just found a review of Banza that also says the water works fine as a thickener.

Hi! I haven't worked with that product before, but I imagine it would swap in just fine. While the starchy water helps thicken the sauce, the broccoli and cheddar do most of the heavy lifting.
