Is this grey-ish powder mold in my garlic?
I split open a head of garlic and saw a grey-ish powder on the bottom. Is this mold? I Google'd pictures of moldy garlic but nothing really resembled this.

That could be domestic "blue mold", as we know it - which is common in harvested and stored garlic bulbs, at least in the U.S.
Compost it and start with a new bulb. We also buy garlic bulbs by the handful, sometimes they are perfect and sometimes they are not... They should always be smooth, firm and the outer paper (skin) should be tight and intact.
Keep them cool (not cold) while storing...garlic keepers are decorative and helpful.
