I just made this lovely brioche recipe. Due to lack of time, it was in frig for 2 hrs only. . Would that just effect the rise or something else.

You will not get a lot of rise since dough is rising in a cold environment which slows yeast activity down considerably.

Also, flavor might not be developed. It will not taste bad, more like 'bland'.
