Did they leak from the sealed edge or from somewhere else? If from the sealed edge, work on closing that better next time. If elsewhere, did you perhaps roll the dough too thin this time? Last possibility I can think of is putting in too much stuffing and/or not cutting a hole in the top for steam to escape. So adjust accordingly next time.
