Unspecified kneading time??????

Has anyone made this - it appeals to me to try due to the freezing aspect. I am very unclear as to kneading time - it says to mix until dough comes together? Then says may knead on flat surface???

In addition to Rebecca's note, usually about 5-10 minutes hand kneading or until surface is smooth.
