Not a shopping term, as far as I've seen.
Appears as a preparation method, using sugar and vinegar, apparently adapted from Italian cooking.
See, for example, recipes by Gordon Ramsay and other British authors.
Maybe other usages, too.

What is the recipe that calls for these peppers? Maybe someone can figure it out within the context of the recipe. I’m thinking maybe Peppadews?
It could be a regional name...that’s what they’re called in the author’s part of the world.
