If two kids say the same cookie is theirs, how would you decide who gets it?

I'd eat the dang cookie myself.

Do as Solomon did: allow one to cut the cookie in half, and allow the other to choose which half he/she gets.

On a lighter note.
Get their fingerprints.
Make cookies (with them) and top with the fingerprints as icing or decal.
Institute a house rule - unless your fingerprints are on it, the cookie can be anyone's. Or must be shared.

Cut it in half & tell them to stop bickering..
