Need to re-tin an OLD copper pan. Am in Union County NJ ~45 min from NYC.

Inherited a copper pan that was my great gransmonther's (we think). Desperately needs re-tinning. Anyone know of a place that does this work - will to mail it for estimate, etc. I live in Garwood, NJ which is about 45 minutes from mid-town Manhattan.

East Coast Tinning - http://www.eastcoasttining.com ....the best! Send them up to Rhode Island, you'll have them back in 2-3weeks.

I remember the article but their website response form was not working so I gave up and misplaced their info. They have it working so I am keeping my fingers crossed! Thank you so much!

The NYT just ran a story on Brooklyn Copper Cookware (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/23/dining/23copper.html?scp=1&sq=brooklyn%20copper&st=cse) and they do retinning. Haven't used them before, but probably worth a shot.
