Will I get sick from eating cream cheese frosting that wasn't put in the fridge?

I opened a container of Betty Crocker's Rich and Creamy Cream Cheese frosting but left it out (with cover on) on the counter for a few days (it's been cool so I figured it was fine). After eating a spoonful today, I noticed that it said to refrigerate leftover frosting...

Am I going to get sick from just a spoonful? The frosting still looked white and tasted like, well, cream cheese. I also wanted to use it for cupcakes but since seeing the label, I'm not so sure now...

Hi Jennifer! That frosting is, as I understand it, shelf-stable—so I think it will be just fine! Enjoy the cake, and happy Thanksgiving.
