Roast Spatchcock Turkey by AntoniaJames

I made spatchcock turkey this Thanksgiving and followed AntoniaJames
recipe to the letter for my 10 pounder.
Starting out at 450 then dropping to 400 cooked my turkey in 60 minutes. Unfortunately I barely got drippings for gravy and the appearance was dry. The flavor was just ok.
I really liked the process but I feel the temperature was too high for a small bird. Can you offer advice?
I spatchcock chickens frequently throughout the year. My oven temperature is spot on.
