Hi there -- sorry to hear this! What size/shape pan did you use? If it wasn't a tube or bundt pan, I'm wondering if it just didn't finish baking in the center.
Used a tube pan. I checked it at 35 minutes and it was still liquidy in the center, so I left it in for 8 more minutes. I’ll try again, I’m not used to failing in the kitchen!
Thanks for giving it another try. When you do, use a cake tester to make sure it's done in the middle, and if you don't have a cake tester, press your finger on the top-center of the cake and it should spring back if it's cooked through.
