The recipe calls for "3/4 cup canned plum tomatoes, coarsely chopped, with their juice". I'm interpreting this to mean canned whole tomatoes. A 15 oz can should suffice. Not being a stickler for exact measurement on this type of dish, and not wanting a tiny bit of leftover canned tomatoes, I would likely use the whole can. Plus not being stuck with figuring out how much of the juice in the can goes with 3/4 cup of tomatoes : ) ...!
