Worried about my starter being vigorous enough

It's cold here and my starter doesn't look as vigorous this morning as I hoped it would. Think it would be okay to follow the recipe and add maybe 1/4 tsp. of dry yeast?

Sure, that could work. I'd probably opt to instead keep my starter warmer (you can use warm water when feeding it!) for a day or two to get it back up to full strength! Another option: use a little more starter than what I call for, but be sure to use it when it's ripe or almost ripe.
