I forgot an important ingredient in my beef stew recipe!

I'm making a french beef stew today, and I forgot to add the flour to the onions/garlic to make roux before I added the liquid 🙄. Will it be ok if I just thicken with cornstarch or flour/water at the end?

Yeo, your cornstarch solution sounds fine. Of, if you want to use flour, don't add it raw but cook it into a roux before adding.
But you may not need either... taste your stew when it's finished and before serving - the texture, after long slow cooking, may be good enough without added thickener.
