Food52 Nonstick Pan Issues - Total Fail

I bought the Five Two Essential Cookware 10" nonstick last week and it's been a disaster.

I've followed everything possible: Low to medium low heat, high-flashpoint oil, making sure the pan is warm before adding pancakes or eggs, etc.

Half of everything I cook seems to stick all the time. The last two times I used a ton of oil, so it can't be that. I've never had a pan this difficult to work with before.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? My friend swears by this pan and I think sometimes she doesn't even use any oil. How am I failing when I use more than enough of it?

Sounds like you're doing the best you can to prevent nonsticking—in particular, preheating the pan and using enough fat before adding your ingredients.
