I need help with transporting cakes on stands
I am wondering how other people do cakes on cake stands. I work in a bakery as a decorator, but we just haven't found a good way to do this if the cake needs to be transported on the actual stand. Some people prefer it built on the stand besides a cake drum that you see. Do you have a method of transporting the cake ON the stand (ones with a pedestal that would cause it to be top heavy if bumped), or do you build it at the venue? Any tips or methods would be helpful!
