Possible to make in Vitamix instead of ice cream maker?

I don’t have an ice cream maker. Wondering if I can freeze mix in ice cube tray then blend it in Vitamix?

Another suggestion: try putting the mixture in a ziplock and freezing until it is semi-frozen, but not solid; then buzzing it in the Vitamix (container chilled).

Fun idea! Can't speak to the result but worth a try, right? Worst case scenario is a delicious slushy.
