When does the cream of tartar get used?
The recipe calls for 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar for the frosting, but doesn't say where to use it in the instructions. I put it in with the sugar and egg whites and that seemed to work out. Is that the right spot? (I don't make this style of frosting very often.) Thanks!
