Peanut paste wasn't thick in Fanesca soup

I liked the multiple flavors of this soup. But I did have a problem with blending the 1c milk with 1/2 peanuts. It was way too liquidy to form a paste. I even added another 1/2 c of peanuts. Is there another trick?

Hey, Debbie! First, thanks for trying the recipe, it´s quite an adventure! An about the peanut paste, I think it would be better to go with less milk first (maybe 1/2 cup) and then adding more peanuts accordingly. Also, I know there are people that use store-bought peanut butter or peanut sauce/paste to find that perfect texture, but that would require extra carefulness with the sweetness in that other sauce. Try the less milk trick and let me know how it goes! - Maria
