how long does it keep in fridge

Can it really be right that this only keeps for 3 days? Sounds very short when i look at the recipe. it is cooked and I would think up to 5 days at least

The author says, “ Store the cooled paste in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or frozen for several months..”
