Should the apples be peeled or not?

The video and picture show unpeeled apples, but the ingredients list calls for peeled. Which is correct?

I pretty much don't peel anything

The second photo in the slideshow clearly shows one apple in the midst of being peeled. It also has a couple of slices of peeled apple on the cutting board that the prop stylist set up.

I vote for unpeeled, too.

I cannot remember the last time I peeled an apple for a crisp, cobbler or baked oatmeal. There seems to be so much flavor in the peel, plus, I prefer the texture - not to mention the higher nutritional value (and less food waste, even when composting):

"[A] raw apple with skin contains up to 332% more vitamin K, 142% more vitamin A, 115% more vitamin C, 20% more calcium and up to 19% more potassium than a peeled apple." https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/peeling-fruits-veggies

Hi! The apples in the photo/video are peeled. That's my personal preference in a pie or crisp—but if you don't mind the skins, you can leave them on.
