How would these hold-up in a mixed cookie box? I'm concerned about the 2nd jam application making them messy. Thank you for your help !

Thank you for your recommendations, much appreciated. I think I'll include them and may make half without 2nd jam dollop just in case.

As sometimes happens, my comment didn't register. If you get a double, please ignore one. In any case, I don't think these would do well in a box of mixed cookies.

Replacement comments:

For storing at home or giving in person, I prefer shallow boxes with one layer of single type of jam cookie. If you need/want to include multiple layers, separate with baking paper (waxed or parchment) and cardboard.

For giving in person mixed types of cookies, including the sofganiot jam cookie, put the others in first and these on top, in a carboard tray.

For mailing mixed types of cookies, omit the sofganiot jam cookies entirely or omit the jam when making, or make another sugar cookie without jam to replace them in the mix.

Hi! The fully prepared cookies might get a little messy if the box gets jostled around; but if you skipped the second jam application I bet they'd be OK!
