Can this be made as 6" inch cake?

Want to make a small wedding cake. 2 six inch layers. I've made the half recipe as an 8 inch square. Would the half recipe work? Everyone loves this. Tried to submit earlier, but was kicked out; sorry if this post is a duplicate.

Yes, this should work -- you might want to bake for less time. Check it after 15 minutes.
