Harissa - what format to use in this recipe

Hello, I would love to know in this Green Chile and Harissa Chili recipe when you say harissa if you mean the ground spice, the concentrate in a tube, or a bottled sauce? Tk you

Not sure what the recipe writer meant but the headnote says the aim is a fairly dry snack, so I'd use - in order of preference - dry blend, paste or sauce. Also depends on what you have in the pantry or stores nearby.
