The ricotta got too wet from grape juices as it sat. Should I have only spooned the grapes on the ricotta?

The sauce did not all boil away or thicken much.

The combination of tastes sounds great!
With produce, liquid can vary by growing conditions or time of year.
Maybe cook the sauce longer next time and/or serve the cheese and grapes in separate bowls.
