I didn't find that particular flat sided thick spatula on Food52 site. I need a substantial flat side wooden utensil. Any recommendations?

Here is one that we do sell -- I use the flat spatula all the time; even though it's small, it's sturdy: https://food52.com/shop/products/7343-five-two-wooden-spoons

MBOBDEN -

There was a discussion here about two weeks ago - which wood best for kitchen utensils. Answers were hardwood, any.

As to shape and type. I received a gift called a spurtle - straight sided wood
for mixed hot cocoa. Lovely. But/and there are larger spurtles for cooking. Also, various wooden spatulas.

Looking at a few online merchants, I don't see single wooden tools for purchase. But there are several nice sets for about 3-10 pieces. See if any strike your fancy, and if you have use for them.
