Can the crust be prepared and blind baked a day in advance?

If so, is it stored in the refrigerator or at room temp?

Yes, I think you can par-bake the crust a day ahead. Let it cool completely, wrap it well and refrigerate it. The next day, let it come to room temperature before you fill and bake the tart.
