I am not sure how to cook squid larger than topical calamari

I have a couple squid I got from an Asian grocery store, about a half a pound a piece and I would like to cook them with some olive oil, wine, grape tomatoes, olives, garlic and capers to emulate something I ate in Sicily. The problem is I don’t know how to cook these larger squid. How long should I cook them on the pan?

There are also some Italian recipes which stuff larger bodied squid.

I was always taught that for tender squid, you either cook really quickly (a few minutes), or low and slow (braise) for a couple of hours.

Why not take those ingredients you listed and braise gently for a few hours. Or slice thinly and do a quick stir-fry.
