Undoubtedly the FDA's official stance would instruct you to toss it. I'd expect dietitians and nutritionists to echo this.
That said, everyone has certainly consumed insects, usually inadvertently although humans consciously eat insects in some places on this planet today and of course throughout human history.
If you have ever drank wine, you've consumed wasps inadvertently. Wasps are commonplace during harvest and invariably a few will end up in the grapes during crush (including other insects as well).
In fact, there are likely insects in most processed food products produced from vegetables or fruits.
Uncertain, but I'd be cautious. Did some looking around and found there is a Japanese custom of eating wasps, especially in larval stage. But couldn't find anything about eating full-grown wasps or the safety of it.
