Toll House Chocolate Chips instead of expensive chocolate

Of course you can use Toll House morsels for making peanut butter cups. My mother did exactly that for years before it got to be the fashion to use decorator chocolate. I happen to like using Special Dark chips when I make them, but I like darkish chocolate. You can also save yourself some trouble by using regular old peanut butter, and skip the salt/sugar mixing, just adding in the confectioner's sugar to thicken things. Just don't use "all natural" peanut butter, which separates.
