what is your favorite lemon cake
i haven't made an amalfi-style lemon cake which was featured on milk street. i'm wondering if it's as good as maida heatter's buttermilk lemon cake which also has a lemon glaze. everyone i've made that for has raved. a french lemon cake was inferior. if u've made both, would like to hear which is better. i do btw, make a lemon cake w almond paste and limoncello but i think that's different enough to keep on my menu. same w nigella lawson's lemon polenta cake. Tx
