First, calculate quantities by multiplying each ingredient quantity by the number you want to serve. Then, do the muddling in a strong ceramic bowl or mortar and pestle. Transfer to a pitcher or large glass jar. Add & stir the liquors. You could cover and hold this for a few hours. When ready to serve, put ice cubes in each glass, add the ginger ale to the liquor mixture, stir briefly and pour. Happy party or the start to a dinner!

Jenni - glad to help. Some more thoughts - if the apple cider is carbonated, wait to add that with the ginger ale, so the mixture is nicely fizzy when you serve.
