Yes - thats what the sources say. And for the love of your family, do what the recipe says and don’t buy canned sour kraut! My British mother bought it & is was awful. My German ex mother in law brought it in the bag & seasoned it with caraway & she was also a terrible cook but her kraut was much better.
Thanks - did a light rinse since I need to restrict sodium- recipe was delicious- I did do a simple herb dry brine on tenderloin before cooking- we loved the cider mustard sauce!
