What is a coleslaw mix? If possible I don't buy pre-packaged stuff.

Can I use another type of flour besides chickpeas?

Hi! If you can't get your hands on chickpea or gram flour, I'd recommend using any sort of flour made from a lentil/bean/legume. You could also just leave it out! It won't taste quite the same, and you may want to use less dressing to start (since the flour won't be there to absorb it), but it'll still be tasty.

Yep, Nancy's right! Coleslaw mix is essentially raw, pre-shredded cabbage, sometimes with carrots added too. If you want to do that step yourself, just shred 14 ounces of cabbage (any mix of green and/or purple works). You can also add a shredded carrot or two, if you'd like.

Basically it’s cabbage with a few coloured vegetables for contrast (Carrots, sweet peppers etc ) shredded, undressed,
You could do the shredding yourself and you’ll have fresher better results.
