Does this get served cold? Or should it be warmed for serving?

Served cold like rillettes, pâté, tapenade, etc. If you warm it up, it'll end up greasy. Butter liquifies around 90 °F.

Personally I would take out of the refrigerator about 15-20 minutes before serving though.
