For a cast iron pan or cake pan would the same adjustment used for loaf be used?

Look in the headnote where the test kitchen gives suggestions for time and temp to make a quick bread (loaf) using this recipe.
You could use those directions as a starting point.
Keep in mind the cast iron may bake faster than a regular pan (conductivity of the metal) but that because of volume the center may take a bit longer to cook through. So bake until a skewer or toothpick in the center comes out clean.
