Safe to eat this chicken that has been only partially cooked while I browned other pieces

I am making coq au vin. The chicken i bought was a little frozen. As I was prepping, I had the chicken on the counter. I then browned the chicken in batches, taking each out after 6 minutes or so total). So this chicken I realized sat unrefrig or half cooked for probably 45 minutes as I cooked each batch. Is this ok to eat?? THANK YOU

Food safety regulations (for both commercial and home use) is to keep foods that need it frozen or refrigerated (at 40F or 4C).

Otherwise max 2 hours at room temp.

So I think you’re safe with the 45 minutes.
