rare try tip roast needs more cooking

I have a portion of a tri tip roast that is too rare for most of my family members. I want to cook it some more so they are eat it. Not sure how to do that without making the roast super tough or chewy. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I would probably put the underdone piece in a 300F oven. Use a meat thermometer to get the desired doneness without overcooking.

Best of luck.

Another possibility - slice all or as much of the roast as you think you'll need and braise the pieces until they reach the desired doneness, again using a meat thermometer as 702551 recommends.
