What kind of butter? The directions seem to bee inconsistent.

The ingredients list recommends Land O’Lakes butter but in the tasting notes, the recommendation is for European style butter. Is Land O’Lakes European style?

Land O'Lakes has a European-style butter, which is a fermented butter so the flavor is more concentrated.

For this recipe, any unsalted butter will work. I always use whatever butter I have on hand. This is a great recipe and hard to mess up.

Land O'Lakes is an American brand of butter and is not considered to be a European style butter. European style butter is typically made using a different process that results in a butter with a higher butterfat content and a richer, creamier taste.

In the recipe you mentioned, it's possible that the Land O'Lakes butter is recommended in the ingredient list simply because it is a widely available brand of butter in the United States. However, in the tasting notes, the recommendation for European style butter may be because it has a richer flavor and may be preferred for this particular recipe. pizza tower
